Palindromic Arthritis
I had it 20 years ago and it developed into RA. I am now 74. When diagnosed with R A they asked me what treatment I had been having.I had none.
No but I have Adult Onset Stills Disease diagnosed at 17, now 60. Stills comes and goes, sometimes I can hoover and bake (I’m retired early as The pandemic closed my budiness) and other days I can’t open a letter.
Upon diagnosis I was warned of organ damage and very recently became unwell with GP wanting tests to rule out liver cancer among others. Tests ongoing and GP ignoring Stills but I’m aware these new symptoms could be organ involvement from Stills.
OA has appeared in some joints and Ethetitis at the site of a muscle injury. Other associated AI conditions have emerged over the years perhaps encouraged by the menopause.
It’s an unusual condition, as is yours, in that each day upon waking I never know if I’ll be singing and dancing or moaning and groaning.
You’ll find this site a wealth of comforting knowledge and support and I wish you good days.
sorry groaning - or Dreaming or Screaming at night
I’ve hadPA for 30;years.
Me and I’m having an awful time of it rite now!
