My hand has been swelling since Christmas! Going to hospital this week to find out what is going on with it. Will keep you posted 👋

RA hand, my right hand is affected like this over first two knuckles but it comes and goes and has done for a good while. I think in my case it might be when the RA med Orencia is waning the day before the next dose.

In my case it doesn't hurt just looks a bit odd. I have full movement which is why I think it happens when the meds are waning as after the injection it goes down again. It must be down to ligaments or fluid around the knuckle I suppose. The joys of RA but at least its not hurting. lol x

My right hand is swollen too but not as much as that. Mind you I'm not on any meds for RA at the mo again. I hope they can sort it for you. XXX

My-knuckles-had-similar-on both hands too and often just in one area : between-first-and-second-knuckle-when-RA-was-uncontrolled-around-ten-years-ago-but-a-minimal amount-of-puffiness-remains-between second and middle even-though-no-active-inflammation-there.It-was-the-uncontrolled-RA-for me as-it was-stabbing-too. I think it’s often hard to get out of the tissue once it’s swollen. Stayed permanently in my tissue over my kneecap too for several years. Hope-your-rheumy-team-sort-this-for-you-ASAP on your visit this week .x

Mine has lookedLike that during flares. Painful and can't do much. Hope yours is soon sorted.

That looks very painful, hope you get some treatment for it. I used to get inflammation like that before my meds were sorted, although the swelling in my case was shorter lived. I hope you get it sorted X
