My new therapy, after living with this disease for over 20 years, I have set up a YouTube channel called Heather’s Life with rheumatoid arthritis. My film making is basic but I am only learning, but if I can help bring some awareness to this disease it will be worth it.
Well done Heather. I am sure your videos will help people a lot. It is very scary when you are first diagnosed and hearing about the precedures from someone who has experienced that can only be a good thing.
Hi Heather, just watched, well done you, recently started sulfasalazine & didn't know about the loose bowel movements 🙄 read diarrhea but not loose & thought it was just a blip 🤣, I've got psoriatic arthritis though not rheumatoid Good luck with the blog I'm sure you'll be helping a lot of people x
What a fabulous idea Heather, I will definitely take a look at your channel. I did similar when I was diagnosed last year with the idea of sharing the early stages of my diagnosis and treatment journey, and it's been wonderful to connect with people through their comments on the videos. It sounds like you have a lot of experience to share and I'm sure it'll help a lot of people. Wish you all the best with it!
I'm sure you will, it can feel like such an isolating condition sometimes that any sharing of experience or advice can help. At least that's how it was for me. I really appreciated youtube videos of people talking about their experience of RA when I was first diagnosed, which is what inspired me to try doing the same! It's so lovely when someone posts a message to say a video's helped them in some way. Am looking forward to watching yours!
Good for you, it’s great to see these social media platform thingies put to good use. 👵🏼
This is great Heather! I feel a lot of the community will benefit from your YouTube Channel😀
