Arthritis aids

I'm having trouble turning off my garden tap because of the arthritis in my fingers and wrists. It's one of the old fashioned ones - brass with two "arms". Any recommendations for something to help?

Found this on Amazon . Also there's a company called Arthr who make aids but I haven't looked on their website. Might be worth a look

You can get outdoor taps that are operated by a lever. Maybe that would help or maybe indoor tap turners but I’ve not tried these so don’t know if they’d fit, if you give some aid suppliers a call they may be able to answer that question.

Hi LW1920. We changed ours to a lever tap (as Kitty has shown) a few years ago, it's so easy to use.

That looks great - I've added it to my list for the bungalow construction 👍

There are very stylish tower / lever taps if you can get one fitted. Much easier to use and look good
