I do but I was told many of the medications we take are the culprits.

Yeah constantly but I’m immune suppressed so I can’t fight them off. As a result I’m on prophylactic antibiotics every day to ward off the nonstop really bad infections I had over the winter and for almost all of last year. I’ve started taking an antihistamine every day too because I’m finding the mucus caused by allergies are the start of the infections and touch wood I’ve not had one for two months. Long may it continue because last year and most of this was awful.

In fact quite the opposite….I had regular sinus infections pre RA…but even now on Rituximab …..which does mention sinus infections as a known side effect…I haven’t had one Have you tried any of the non anti bacterial sprays to use …I use them two or three times a week & I can’t remember the last time I had an infection.

Speak to your rheumy nurse she will advise you.
