Query re immuno suppressant and Paxlovide

Looking for some advice re restarting my immuno suppressant Methotrexate and Benapali injections weekly. Have had Covid and had 5 day treatment of antiviral Paxlovide. Any idea if it’s and when it’s safe to restart? My specialist nurses not responding to my call

I’ve just finished taking paxlovid. I had to come off some other drugs I take because of the negative interaction they have with paxlovid. (a statin, among others) I was told by the doctor not to start them again until three days after I had finished the anti-virals.She also said Methotrexate and Benepali do not negatively interact with Paxlovid but to keep off them while I was still unwell with covid. I’m still coughing badly and am going to miss a second Methotrexate injection early this week and decide whether to take Benepali, due next weekend, when I see how I am then. I’m really glad I had Paxlovid as it’s not been a great week even with it.

I restarted my Methotrexate and Filgotinib after two from having covid and taking Paxlovid ,I didn’t hear from my Rhummy so so just assumed caution and left the two week gap .

Thank you! Thankfully I’m due to see consultant this week. Just a bit concerned about a flare and still have a nasty Covid cough

UNFORTUNATELY I'VE HAD NO EXPERIENCE WITH COVID AND ITS TREATMENT AND STOPPING THE METHOTREXATE REGIME. HOWEVER I HAVE TRIED STOPPING MY MEDS 3 TIMES AND EVERY TIME I CRASH AND BURN WITH A VERY NASTY FLARE .. YOU THINK I WOULD LEARN ,BUT WANTED TO GIVE MY BODY A REST FROM THE PREDNISONE AND METHOTREXATE AFTER 9 YEARS. I JUST HAVE TO FACE THE FACT I'M STUCK WITH THESE DAMN MEDS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. THEY ARE REALLY PLAYING HAVOC WITH MY SKIN AND HAIR AND OF COURSE THE DAYS I FEEL LIKE THE WALK DEAD-----LOL. BUT IN THE END AT LEAST I'M NOT IN PAIN WITH MY JOINTS ALL SWOLLEN AND REALLY SORE. THIS LAST ATTEMPT HAS ENDED UP WITH BOTH HANDS BASICALLY LOOKING LIKE BASEBALL CATCHERS MITTS AND VERY PAINFUL. AND THEN OF COURSE WE HAD THE LEFT KNEE BEING TEMPERAMENTAL AND MY RIGHT ANKLE AND ARCH SWOLLEN SO THAT I COULDN'T PUT ANY WEIGHT ON IT. TO PUT IT MILDLY I WAS AND STILL AM A MESS .THE PAIN HAS EASED BUT THE SWELLING IS ANOTHER STORY AND STILL TRYING NOT TO UP THE PREDNISONE BUT THINK I'M GOING TO GIVE IN WITH THAT TOO. BUT I LOOK AT IT THIS WAY------I'M STILL ABOVE GROUND AND BREATHING SO I SHOULD BE THANKFUL AND ENJOY EVERY GLORIOUS DAY .
