Shin rash follow up

I’ve managed to upload a picture of the skin rash, there are big brown ones which I think are age but also lots of little red dots that itch, bleed, hurt and often turn into big brown ones. Pharmacist suggested E45 to start off with.

I would suggest doublebase gel , i used it after radiotherapy and it was very soothing. I also get alot of these spots 😕

Sorry to hear about the lumpectomy and radiotherapy, how are you doing now? Is your son recovered from covid? Thanks for the tip 😀

Im doing fine , thanks for asking! My son tested negative today but is going to take another test tomorrow before coming out of isolation. My husband tested positive on Monday as well 😕

They are both ok , wee bit tired but no other real symptoms 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

It’s exhausting , sorting them out with food and drinks and all the cleaning .

I hope you find a cream that suit you xx

I have a few of the brown spots too which I used to think were moles but a GP told me a few weeks ago that they are seborrheic keratoses which mostly appear with age. I'm not sure you can get rid of them unless you have them removed, as one of mine peeled off a few months ago (without any help from me) but regrew after a week or so.

A few years ago I paid £800 to have 4 removed that were big or catching and getting sore but if I paid now I’d need to spend thousands to get rid of them all 😀the warty brown ones I’m tolerating although they can show through light clothes in summer 😝big the pinprick red itchy ones are unbearable: started in E45 today which I hope helps. Thanks for your reply 😀

Crickey, that's a lot of money. When that one of mine peeled off, I thought, that's it then, gone! I almost threw a party 😆 until I saw it slowly coming back again. Fortunately, the ones I have are out of sight. Good luck with the E45. Do you know what has caused the red itchy ones? 😊

Hi, my partner gets those and sometimes they are really big. He had a few removed by the doctor as they were catching and sore. Can your doctor not help you with the problematic ones hun.

in reply to Typsey

Not on the NHS sadly although perversely there is budget to prescribe cream when they become infected but not budget for removal hence I paid a few years ago to have the worst removed. I’ve got so many now I’d need a big win on the lottery 😀
