Me too! But I've got my back door open - it's not too cold and I love the wind!

Lovely photo😁 It's really getting windy now, pots and bin blown over. Bright sunshine though

Bit different now! If you see my post below - we've lost a tree...and some of the shed roof! Mind you, I walked my dog in it earlier...I love the wind - especially when it's like this 😁

Thank you for posting this! I have been watching the red blob moving along the South Coast. I'm in the South West and we had nothing until about 9.30am then it struck..easing down now but still very windy as it moves South.

We've lost a laburnum tree...well 2/3 of it!

Blimey !!!! The most damage I've seen here is a neighbour's fence went down. Looking at the map , it looked like we had the red ' blobs' either side of us- we only caught the edge of them . Thankfully

Unfortunately I don’t need a link I’m sitting here watching it …..having dragged some of my garden furniture into the house as it was flying around my decking! It is really quite alarming…Just hope it blows itself out very, very soon!

Yes Thankyou…things have calmed down…but it was so totally unexpected here…nobody had bothered to take any precautions…that will teach us. Off to B&Q tomorrow to buy fixings to hold down garden box lid!

Nobody told me retirement was like this!

We’ve had bright blue skies with some big fluffy white clouds, which is quite unnerving in a way. It’s not particularly cold either but the wind is really fierce and it sounds like there’s a jet roaring down the road preparing to take off. So far all the trees around us are still standing 🤞

Been pretty bad in my part of south wales...bins blown over in my street with the contents, including black bags all over the place. I only did a litter pick here a week ago with my domestic grabbing stick, which isn't easy for me, but don't think i'm up to tackling this lot. A neighbours motorbike has also blown over. Thankfully the Rowan tree in my garden withstood the storm as it's in an exposed position.
