Been fine for 2 yrs no problem on methotrexate and benapali. All of a sudden hands swollen hurts to walk . Rang nurse consultant said come in for steroid injection straight away the pain went think it was stress . Thank god for the NHS people who are not being vaccinated are blocking up the system for people who need it selfish people. I have had my moan now Merry Xmas everyone 🎅🏼🤶🏼🥂

Sorry to hear you are having pain in your hands and pain walking. My wrists have flared and I've been having a 'moan' here too. It is good to share and get advice. I hope you get on ok with your steroid injection. I hope I read that correctly that you are taking the steroid injection? Will use brain fog as excuse if I've misinterpreted. Hope it eases. I've got frozen veg and potatoes in as I can't chop things at the moment. Take care. 💐

hello, I've been on methotrexate for about 6 years, I started with tablets 17.5 mg, eventually went onto injections about 2 and half years ago but at a much lower dose, was working out great but ive had lots of stress over last 3 years so flare ups were happening so just few months ago I was increased from 10mg to 15mg. I have felt very sick the day after my injection so nurse suggested going to 12.5mg which I start tonight with an increase in folic acid day before and day after. My hands swell up and burn occasionally but they can't really help with that they said. I do have a rare dermatitis which affects my hands and feet although today apart from burning this morning my skin is in good shape. It tends to vary from week to week but on the whole I am under control. I hope you feel better soon and I do feel stress plays a huge part in our lives x
