Had a tooth extraction and its slow to heal- how long can you pause medication ( I'm taking Mycophenolate Mofetil) without a bad effect?

I kept taking all meds for both tooth extractions and again for my spinal surgery a few months ago (leflunomide, toficitinib and prednisolone)

All wounds were slow to heal, but they healed without infection. The holes from the tooth extractions took around 5 - 6 weeks to completely heal. I used salt mouth washes morning and evening along with normal oral hygiene.

The risk of a RD flare was considered to be a greater risk if the meds were stopped.

It will take time to heal. I had a few extractions at once to have a partial denture. Main thing is to avoid infection. There's a good mouthwash called Colgate Peroxyl. It's in a white bottle. More expensive than most mouthwash but good for after oral surgeries.

I will give it a go, I have been rinsing with salt water :-( so I quite fancy another taste, thank you for the suggestion.
