Get booster jab, wear face masks inside and meet outdoors if you want to save Christmas, Sajid Javid warns…
No s*** Sherlock 😳🥺🤬🤯
Get booster jab, wear face masks inside and meet outdoors if you want to save Christmas, Sajid Javid warns…
No s*** Sherlock 😳🥺🤬🤯
Tbh…….don’t you think anybody who is remotely aware that Winter is the time to take even more care will be doing that anyway? That reply shows just how behind the ball politicians are……even worse they don’t listen to those who are up to speed.
Back to DIY then?
It’s the idiocracy that gets me…Why tell people NOT to bother wearing masks then be completely astounded that there is an increase in cases. Which anyone with half a brain could see coming several miles off.
Only thing to do is carry on being sensible isn’t it? I’d rather sit home with a good DVD over Christmas than party 24/7,and end up in ICU.
We all know that AC but I’m afraid far too many in the general public think it’s all over and are not wearing masks or distancing and are meeting up indoors.
So we have to be the sensible ones ……we are responsible for ourselves……that’s the position I’m afraid…..we are the ones who would suffer if we caught Covid…so we must be the ones to take all the precautions.Personally I don’t want to be told to go back to on line food shopping etc……so I shall grin & bear it & take care.
Of course AC and I’m taking care by remaining in my self-imposed prison as always. I won’t shop in my supermarket as there are far too many people in there not wearing masks or keeping their distance. But I have friends and family who live in the outside world. They have to work (some in schools), travel on public transport, go to supermarkets etc. They are at risk despite being vaccinated. My teacher friend is not allowed to wear her mask in school and is very concerned about the risk to her.
I just wish the government would make mask wearing and distancing a legal requirement again to help protect everyone. They do it in France and Italy and infection rates there are much lower.
And Scotland….
Absolutley. Thankfully the other 3 Nations, including Scotland where I live , kept some of the mitigations against Covid.
Who’d want to be in England at the mo?
Not at the moment thanks. I'm staying out till things normalise a bit, 2023 is being mooted as the point when the virus might come under 'better' control.
Unfortunately I’m in England. Love this country geographically and historically but as for the government decisions lately .... 🤬. James O Brien on Britain’s Leading Conversation radio show said it was surreal the way the gov have not kept masks and distancing mandatory then Javid saying ... wear your masks! Flip flopping. Also, apparently the cabinet didn’t have any masks on and the opposition were all masked yesterday. Then today they are wearing masks? Was this as a result of the BMA calling them “ willfully negligent”? One day of Boris and co mask wearing doesn’t absolve them. My OH said that they won’t do anything to upset anyone before Christmas by putting restrictions on. I agree Boris won’t want to be seen as a party pooper again. It will be January when cases are likely so very much higher again. I hope the medical associations and doctors continue to tell them how remiss they are and don’t hold back. I’m off to order some more bulbs and think of something far more pleasant now! We all need some distraction from this awful way we are existing.
My son visited from London last week, being back in Scotland for a few days brought home to him, how relaxed England is about mask wearing etc.He is still largely working from home when in London thankfully.
I think perhaps Buffoon Boris got his holiday abroad in last week before he stops travel again...or, more likely, other countries follow Morocco’s line.
As usual the politicians are playing political tennis. How many votes can we score?
"James O Brien - Leading Conversation Radio Show" - I think not, I remember him and his sarcasm over Brexit.....
I was born and bred in England thank you and I am Ok to remain here.......The government is not to blame, they did not introduce COVID 19 - They where among the first to get vaccinations rolled out and accused of being slow with lockdown, then came the protests against lockdown...
The people who won't be vaccinated are the main culprits then I wonder... Normally a vaccine takes years to develop, this was rushed in months,, Are any any good long or even medium term like a Flue Vaccine.
The solution is not political it's also down the the people of the who UK to behave with common sense - We do not need or should not need a government to plead for us all to get vaccinated. Blame Game is futile whoever is or will be in charge...
We all should know what is needed and behave accordingly,
No Covid was not introduced by the government but their handling and advice is inconsistent never mind the lack of funding for the NHS. I too am from England but doesn’t blind me to the faults of all politicians. Yes the public are sharing some of the blame but if leadership is so poor then they will go their own way.
I’m with you. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
COVID is not a political football. It is a matter of opinion whether the NHS has correct funding or not. Can we afford more? Yes I would like a 24 hour A&E rather than the 12 hour we have but on the other hand with cancer I was referred to and seen by a specialist within 4 weeks and had a TORBT within another 3 weeks There is education. Law and order and all manner of public services so rather than put a downer on what we have bearing in mind how COVID has all but broke our country we should get behind the government who are dammed with restrictions and dammed when people such as James O Brien say the government has got it wrong. Finally it's about time it was realised by James O Brien and others that there are other issues important to the country just as important as COVID.
JO’B quoted a comment in the BMA statement saying the government is being “willfully negligent” so he hasn’t picked some insult from out of the blue or anything. He’s employed to be edgy and get people phoning in. I’m never going to support a PM who won’t make it safer for immunosuppressed people by no mask wearing and no social distancing. That’s the current issues most people have who I speak to, immunosuppressed or otherwise. Doesn’t mean I don’t like people like Kate Bingham and her role in the vaccine roll out. Some excellent minds and people, but not the PM or HS for me at the moment re the pandemic. I don’t wish to be rude to you, but no thanks to that.
On here we should have the focus of our posts on health and RA first so I won’t comment on anything that isn’t related to that such on here. I’m very supportive of the medical associations, scientists, nurses and volunteers who work/ed so very hard to make the vaccine rollout a success .. totally supportive of them .. and sorry some people are experiencing difficulties with obtaining vaccine no.3. I won’t be agreeing with anyone telling me to get behind the government in something that is so wrong for me and others like myself at the moment. I have every respect for the NHS and always will.
Common Decency is something I am interested in. I won’t explain too much here as not appropriate and I need to go, but anyone can look this up on their website. They advocate you supporting any party/the work a member/politician is doing, regardless if they are left or right. At the end of the day one party gets your vote though, unless you abstain.
Have a good weekend everyone as I’m taking a few days off for a long weekend.
First we are not a nanny state - When restrictions were eased, the PM made it clear people should be sensible and wear masks where appropriate.. In other word the people decide if they want to wear masks or not. We are not children we know what we should do.
As for shortage of third shot. I got my text and I had hundreds of appointments and times to choose from and even my local hospital or a nearer clinic. Not a great take up I might add,,
If government made a law to force people to be vaccinated, there would be a massive backlash against an authoritarian government.
Lastly I quote you "JO’B quoted a comment in the BMA statement" Thats fine but the BMA are not responsible for taking measures that could wreck the economy, Another lockdown for example would drive taxes sky high along with high job loss.
There is no solution to COVID - It's down to the peope to wear mask and if they can, keep six foot apart.
Enjoy your weekend
First, I think you’re misunderstanding me again and I’ve not said to force anyone, but when it’s been made much easier to not distance and not wear masks for example, then that’s harder for a lot of people who are immunosuppressed and there are quite a few of those here as you’d imagine. Yes, do quote me as it’s something I’ve quoted from the BMA and they do tend to know they are talking about re health. Shame the government don’t tend to heed good advice until too late. Let’s see where we are in a couple of months. I don’t think I’ve ever said vaccines should be forced. It may well be you do need a more official vaccine passport though. In fact you already do need to prove your non covid status some places .. up to the venues’ discretion.
No, there is no shortage of vaccines and I never said there was ... just difficulty re bookings and locations for some so do bear in mind many people on here have had|are having very much difficulty in getting them. It’s not working well for everyone. No, we are not children but so many are behaving irresponsibly like children. You’re not telling me anything I don’t know and my views haven’t changed re the government and their present disregard for not doing enough at the moment re the rising cases, so I’ll say that’s all from me to you. If I reply again to you it perpetuates this and goes round in circles and runs the risk of this thread being axed as it’s too much off beam. Lastly, no offence to you but that’s all now from me to you on this. Best wishes.
Good to know you’re satisfied with how things are. That’s the way we’d all like to be. I wish everyone well with getting their third vaccines.
I am not satisfied with how things are but we are where we are, I have come to terms with that, IMO the vaccine is nowhere near as good as the flue vaccine and with so many variants I would hate to be in charge......Out of interest just got back from one of those converted mills that sell all manner of things, My myself, my good wife and about half a dozen others where the only ones wearing face masks - Make me ask, who really is to blame if anyone..
I haven’t had enough experience with the flu vaccine to comment other than it didn’t work for me due to Rtx.
All those people in Calais seem very keen to be here.Contentious comment but couldn’t stop myself
Sorry, no comment.
I have a second home in Glasgow. Might stay there….
Do it! Glasgow’s had the higher cases but nothing like England.
Scottish cases are dropping now, perhaps we are beyond the peak brought on with schools returning after the summer holidays (Scottish schools go back 3 weeks earlier than English). But who knows....We have a bumpy ride ahead of us yet.
Italy is around 2K new cases a day and France a bit higher. I have two very good friends in Rome and Paris. They were very concerned at first and said they thought we were lucky and doing so well and now look at us. Awful.
I agree totally AC. We have to look after ourselves. I don’t need to be told what to do, I’ll carry on as I have been throughout, wearing a mask outside, washing my hands, being PPE’d for work. I have to go to work, no choice so I’ll do the best I can and as there is no sign here of a third or booster vaccine that’s all I can do. People here seem to be mainly wearing masks still, I’m going to the supermarket now and I expect the majority there I will be wearing masks as they have been throughout. I’m not going to spend my life shut indoors but that’s just me.
Disgusted. When the BMA criticise the government as being “wilfully negligent” on the lack of regulations and lack of action, and the government blatantly ignore safety advice from such higher levels of authority, then I feel nothing will make them do something more to protect people until they see more chaos like before with the NHS under pressure so badly they can’t help people. How can someone who is ex chancellor of the exchequer be more knowledgeable than the top medical officials? He cannot!!!! I don’t have anymore to say really as it’s all too irresponsible. Wishing everyone well. xx
My neighbour came into our garden yesterday and stood a few feet away so I moved back a bit. Bless her she is out an about and mixing a great deal, so I am a bit cautious in her company. I have a hearing problem so couldn't quite make out what she was saying...so she moved, swiftly, right in front of me with her arm covering her face, then moved her arm away to say that she was covering her face! Just how do you deal with that without causing offence? She is the most compassionate person I know and I would hate to upset her because she means well. I think I am going to have to carry a mask in my pocket, just in case, and put it on if she appears. To make matters worse one of the church wardens was sitting immediately behind her on Sunday and he rang my husband on Thursday morning to say that he had gone down with the dreaded Covid. Fingers crossed, I guess. Rant over. 🙃
England is the only one from the four Nations who dropped mask wearing and other mitigations in certain settings....it is beyond belief why they did this.
I think it’s because so many people were ignoring it. The number of people buying lanyards to say they were exempt was growing. Our society is quite different from Spain and France, although they’re also refusing to wear masks in some areas. Not sure I’d want to mess with the Spanish police!
The English can be petulant and shout about their freedoms. It was becoming impossible without implementing fines, to enforce it anymore I think.
Implement fines and plough them into the NHS...yep I live in cloud cuckoo land...wish I did.
Agree re fines being nigh on impossible to implement. 😑 x
Can you imagine the arguments in the street. It would be anarchy
Agree, especially if it’s anything like last year trying to make people distance and stopping raves etc. Awful. So little respect and I’m glad to not engage with such people. I felt very sorry for the police. Disgraceful behaviour. The Dutch police got water cannons out when they had similar rioting etc. x
Hopefully the government will have to u turn on safety in the next month or so. I think other countries will ban us from travelling to them again and definitely so if the Delta Plus variant gets out of control. After all that was part of the roadmap out wasn’t it? [The Four Tests. Number 4 is new variants of concern. If it still means anything as a Gov doc. ] x
Some already are. One of our clients was exhibiting in Korea - he makes drones for underwater exploration. The hoops they had to jump to be allowed in the country because of our high numbers was extraordinary. He did manage it in the end - a week late and another thousand pounds poorer.
I think we can all agree that we all need to be just as extra careful as we did in lockdown . It’s just plain common sense . People make me cross , people are coughing too ,all over the place . Where are there scruples .
Is there such a thing as common sense ?I think people live by their own understanding of the world, sometimes legislation is required for the good of all.
Scotland, Wales and N Ireland all maintained some mitigations when England dropped theirs.
My parents taught me common sense and I’m pleased I have some. !!!! Seemingly we are living in different times these days . 😂 😂
I believe common sense means different things to different people....without getting into a big debate....my common sense belief system will be different to others because of differences in education and socialisation. Hence sometimes we need legislation so we are all singing from the same song sheet as it were.
(I can't write hymn sheet anymore as it offends some people's common sense. )
Oh Mmrr, I couldn't agree more! I'm so glad you've said this. Unfortunately as you have articulately pointed out, common sense is subjective. What seems like obvious 'common sense' to one person may be ridiculous to another! Therein lies the problem of relying on "good old common sense." That's why as you say, legislation is sometimes required. X😉🤯
And when it all goes pear shaped it will be the Public at fault, because we didn't ! Not the powers that be. But hey ho just be patient ie locked up forever.
It's beginning to get me down. 19 months and counting! I can see this situation continuing for many more months and the immune suppressed are just expected to stay at home and "suck it up!"
Exactly right we are, is it because they don't see as important as the economy, but this is people's health and lives. Its like the Shield but don't shield emails and letters we have just got. Don't get me started me either on the 3rd vaccine chaos either. If you wear a mask outside you are in the minority, I've been I into hospital this morning and they are over stretched and under staffed, I heard that very loud and clear by some of the nurses!
Exactly. I have heard from very close friends who have recently lost their parents as the couldn’t get an ambulance on time to save them . My cousin is a ward sister and is burnt out no HOLIDAY!! For her and now winter and the added stress this brings . She has a young family and missing their young years as there is no life outside work.
That is terribly sad. When I was having my cannula put in this morning, the nurse was having a heated discussion with another nurse about being asked to work tomorrow..it was awkward to be honest but can understand her frustrations if she had plans. Our hospital as like many I suspect..is asking NOONE to attend A&E unless it is life threatening, this is at Mid October. A sensible approach would be to reintroduce some measures, the BMA is calling out for it, the economy can still run with "Plan B" being implemented but hey what do we know! Apart from some success with our vaccine rollout it's been a total shambles and reacting too late. All we can do is hang on tight and look after ourselves and loved ones. Best wishes and sorry for the rant! 🙂
Plan B is unlikely as it involves vaccine passports and there's not really much of an appetite for them
With all due respect though, Plan B could be implemented with adjustments not particularly including Covid passports, to ensure that this very steady rise in cases is at least slowed? Such as mandatory mask wearing in public settings.
Mask wearing is largely abided by in Scotland and we have vaccine passports for nightclubs and other situations.
I do think Scotland is possibly different again. London, Birmingham etc...people weren't wearing masks at all this year. Lots of big protests around vaccine passports and pressure from the night time economy was hard.
I know where I am in Norwich, there were protests and still are. Psychologically, people are becoming tired of restrictions and that may have been taken into account.
I'm fortunate that my friends all test before meeting me. I'm also a member of a business mastermind group and they all test prior to meeting to protect me. It's humbling.
My team exhibited at a show in Liverpool at the weekend. That was a step too far for me.
That's great to hear about your friends and colleagues, we often only hear of people not wanting to .....its refreshing when we hear people ...do want to. There was some resistance in Scotland too about mitigations, but Scotgov ploughed through with legislation and the resistant voices have taken a backseat, I'm sure they are still there if you searched, and you do see some non compliance of masks in supermarkets ....but by and large it is a minority.
Liverpool is a long way from Norwich.
I recently went to the theatre and a Covid passport was required, no one complained or moaned..that I know about?! Trouble is they didn't check the name against the passport just had a quick look at it..it could have been anyone's for all they knew?!! But I did go in through a side entrance not the main entrance so maybe things were a bit more lax..who knows . I guess it is open to abuse as they could have been anyone's passport, it's a bit like when we had to check in anywhere, lots of people had fake check ins to show, including the comedian I went to see apparently!!!
It’s not fair at all to just expect the NHS to cope. It’s weak actually to pass that all on to them. So sorry to hear about your friends’ parents. 😢😢 x
My heart goes out to the workforce in the NHS over worked , overstressed and overlooked must be so heartbreaking for them
My friend, who now holds a National Position in occupational health, has been astoundingly lax in all matters Covid related, told me last night she is just recovering from Covid herself, contracted from a friend in her mid 50s, double vaccinated, who has been hospitalised with it. She has had a bit of a wake up call, and is more empathetic to employees who have been off work with it....well that's good isn't it 🤔 ?
It's not just flu, she told me....eh, yes I know that !
Unbelievable.
Same here Lola .. coming up to 20th month of shielding and fully expect it to go to 24 tbh. I’m a realist not a pessimist. I miss read and thought you’d said f it up!! No that’s “someone else” who’s done a very good job of that. xx
Yes it is a bit of a "mess up" isn't it/!! Like you I'm a realist too.
I've always been a very sociable and busy person so the enforced loneliness Covid has forced upon me and living by myself is becoming increasingly hard to deal with. I had to give up tutoring students (and they all want face to face lessons now not Zoom) and going to play bridge is too risky. Phone and video calls are just not the same as being with people. At least I have Binky, my cat, to keep me company (when it suits her!).
Feeling a bit sorry for myself in the past few days but hope to pull out of it soon. xx
Here if you want to talk or on PM or the phone. I understand fully as it’s my 20 month of shielding coming up and although I’ve my hubby here working from home he does 12 hour days and I don’t see him much till around 8pm. I detest and I do mean detest what has happened re no masks and no distancing as it’s made it so much harder for people like ourselves. 😑Hugs, Lola. xx
Hi it’s getting me down too I totally agree with you. We have been so long in this wired scenario that the majority seem to be half dealing with it and half carrying on as if it’s the new normal! If we don’t do something drastic like lockdown for a couple of weeks we’ll miss Christmas with our families again. My husband works and is meeting people all day and thought he was very careful but got covid three weeks ago. He’s ok and back at work but it drove me into panic in case he’d passed it to me. Miraculously he didn’t and I’ve had my third jab now but it’s increased my daily paranoia. I’ve suffer from AS.
I had family from Scotland and Northern Ireland for the wedding. Both families were horrified by the lack of masks worn here in England. I don’t get why he’s so resistant to reinstate such a small measure. Hopefully when we get our inquiry they will be charged with wilful neglect and fir having caused so many excess deaths. It’s all well saying we have to protect ourselves, which we already do. However when other members of your household are having to go to work, it puts us at risk, unless we continue shielding and keeping to the 2m rule with our partners. I still sleep in a separate room to hubby and use separate bathroom, but not everyone can do this. Hubby is terrified of bringing this home, as I’ve been told despite being 56, I wouldn’t be suitable for CPR or ventilation due to fused ribcage, pulmonary fibrosis and lack of lung expansion. Cuddles are limited to when he’s done LFTs or is off on holiday and his contacts are similar to mine 🤗
Gosh Maureen that's so hard for both you and your hubby. I would say sending hugs but I guess that would be uncomfortable for you. xx❤️
Thanks, hugs of the virtual type are always welcome 🤪. I’m quite a strong person despite everything thrown at me. I had a massive stroke 3yrs ago caused by an adrenal crisis. I was diagnosed 3 weeks later with severe adrenal insufficiency, my body produces no cortisol, so I have to think for my adrenals and dose accordingly. Often it’s hubby who notices I’m low first and I also have an emergency intramuscular injection which we’re both trained to use, and he’s already had cause to use it. I remain positive though. We’ve been married 32yrs, so it’s not so bad. He is my rock and so supportive and understanding of my many health issues 🤗
I'm so glad to hear that you have such a good husband, Maureen. Your Rock. You have such a lot on your plate and low adrenalin crises are often missed. It's good that you have intramuscular injections for use in emergencies. My younger brother had both Type 1 diabetes and Addison's Disease and even doctors initially had a job differentiating between the two crises. Sending a big virtual hug your way. ❤️
Sorry your brother struggles with it too. No matter how prepared you are good or bad stress can send you on a downward spiral. They say there’s only 2 hormones we can’t live without, insulin and cortisol. So sorry your brother struggles with both. I once nearly collapsed just from arguing with hubby, not something we do often. Another time was having to change gates quickly due to them not announcing change till last minute. I became lightheaded, nauseous, headache and slurred speech, so had to be injected. I’m still surprised to this day they let me board the flight. I get these symptoms just by someone startling me. I’ve suffered 2 weeks after 3rd covid dose because normally individuals produce more cortisol to deal with the stress the vaccine puts the body under, which I can updose during the day, but wake in the morning to the horrendous low symptoms. Healthy individuals don’t really appreciate how much cortisol dies to keep them stable, till you’ve not got it there to rely on Sorry I’m rambling 😂😂 take care and stay safe 🤗
Crumbs Maureen that's really and it must have been awful at the airport with so many people around and deadlines to meet re the flight. I am the opposite in that I can't have adrenaline, even for surgery. My BP suddenly drops and I have to be tilted head down. It is now in red at the top of my notes as an alert because it would normally be the 'go to' jab used in case of emergency. xx
What you describe happens with adrenal insufficiency, so if we are having like a local anaesthetic which contains adrenaline we need to take extra cortisol before or we get the same issue you describe. Is it possible with your brother also having Addisons that you also have issues with low cortisol. AI patients who use epipens also need to use their emergency injection at the same time to prevent a crisis. It may be worth asking your GP for an early morning blood cortisol around 8-9 in the morning, for reassurance re your levels. They should be around 450-550, mine was undetectable and still is in the morning till my steroids kick in. It’s not uncommon for AI patients to collapse during dental procedures for this reason. The reason it happens is cortisol is needed after an adrenaline surge to mop up the excess adrenaline and stabilise your BP & pulse once the thing that triggered the “fight or flight” mechanism to kick in. If you don’t have enough cortisol that stabilisation won’t occur 🤗
I had never considered that Maureen. I first had a problem at the dentist fifty years ago when I passed out having had an injection into my gum for a filling. He told me then that I shouldn't have adrenaline, but later a surgeon still decided to use it for an epidural and there was a dramatic drop in my BP then...and then, yet again no one was listening to me until it happened again pre surgery. Now it is flagged up, thank goodness. Just because it is unusual for some reason they thought it was always a one off. I will certainly ask my GP about that. I am due a medication review so that will be the ideal opportunity. I had never considered the link to my younger brother before. Gosh, what a useful site this is. I will copy and paste your advice above into an email and print it off and put it into my medical file. Once again, Maureen, thank you. God Bless, xx
They have learnt nothing and certainly not from their mistakes 🤯 I’m the only one in school wearing a mask . It’s the only place I go outside home . I still caught the flu . I work in a primary school. Doors and windows closed as parents moan about children being cold .
One of the things the politicians could do is wear masks in the Houses of Parliament and at their meetings. What sort of message does it give the public if they say 'wear a mask' and then they don't.
It can only be the message they wish to portray. ...can't think of another reason?
Oh Boris and co all have all got masks on today according to the radio! Apparently all the opposition have been wearing them.
Glad it’s not just me! I do feel isolated with my thoughts sometimes, so thank you for your comments.
I think 2024 I will be back on a plane… before that I will be holidaying in Scotland, Wales & Ireland… I appreciate holidays do not seem vital to some but I am ‘medically retired’ (and live alone) and was SO looking forward to a variety of trips. Looking forward to doing Scotland ‘properly’ and Ireland too; they’ve been on my list for a while; so that’s something I suppose.
In some ways we have the advantage of being resilient. We know we can get through this. It’s just frustrating that the ordeal is continually lengthening due to a lack of care and foresight.
I get it.I live alone and am medically retired too, the regular breaks away from home are necessary for wellbeing.
Well I wonder how long it's taken him to work out what we grown ups already knew and still do it's not rocket science How much does this guy get paid to state the obvious months too late ... Makes my blood boil ....
Get 3rd vaccine jab, what a joke! Had a text from my surgery saying I am now eligible (I had a similar text a few weeks ago but was turned away after an hour because my MTX dose was too low at 15mg). I keep logging into Swiftqueue but there are no appointments available. Been trying for 3 days now. Almost, but not quite as bad as trying to see doctor face to face. ☹️
This winter I am going to stare at 4 walls... watch Strictly Xmas edition, wash and dry my patterned face masks and generally be thankful that I'm not in hospital...
Er...
No I'm not: I am going to meet people, go out, invite friends over, offer support to anyone that needs it and...guess what...I'm simply going to embrace life.
It is time to get out there and live. Cup of tea at my place anytime. Might still watch Anton du Beke of course but you get my meaning.
I suppose much depends on the risks we are willing to take with the type of underlying conditions each of us have along with being immunosuppressed. As for me, I haven't locked myself up, not yet anyway, but am very careful otherwise.
Well SAGE are now saying the NHS will not be overwhelmed this winter according to their modelling..so that's ok then..try telling it to the NHS!!
🤦♀️
we suffer, go without while Boris and his buds party on public money.how can anyone not see this has nothing to do with protecting us from a virus.
if you are not taking a quilty vitamin D why NOT?
I had covid last week, it is pretty rough nowhere near as bad as swine flu, not something to take lightly.
also worth remembering is the towel over a bowl of hot water/ salt. helps clear congestion. Please note I am not against vaccines at all. though I haven't had the covid one. too many things about covid just don't add up.
as for masks, they are a great way of making cash and controlling people.
