Scot Gov don’t seem to know what to do about shielders

Received an email last week from Scot Gov asking those that had been previously shielding to fill out a questionnaire.

It was obvious from the questions they don’t have a clue what to do next.

It is good that you are being asked by the Scot Gov. We had no consultation in England. I was concerned when the announcement was made about easing restrictions further especially I am going to have to return to my office in the near future and can only use public transport or taxis. It is the commute that bothered me more than anything.

However over this week our mayor has announced that masks will remain mandatory on our trams for those who are not exempt from wearing them. Uber has also announced that all customers that are not exempt from wearing a mask will have to continue to do so. I work in a hospital so thankfully masks and social distancing will remain too. x

Yes, me too. I completed the questionnaire and feel grateful to be consulted on the matter. Scotland seem a little more socially responsible than England, at the moment.

I am so pleased that face masks and some social distancing will remain too.
