Red, sore, itchy Nose

So this popped up today, it started to become red, itchy and sore. Its gotten pretty itchy now. I am prone to allergies and yesterday I had a runny nose so I just assume its from rubbing my nose the whole time yesterday. But does anyone know what it is exactly?

Could be a skin reaction to soggy conditions after a runny nose. Or rosacea? Are you on steroids? Using a nasal spray?

Look after the skin gently.

So it has turned into a fever blister/cold sore.

Hi I’ve had this for a number of years but prior to PsA, I had some cream from the dr which used to clear it up but within a couple of days it was back, it drove me mad, I saw a post my cousin shared on Facebook over a year ago saying make sure you remove all makeup at night as bacteria can build up & little (this bit sounds disgusting) skin mites can develop which irritate the skin, I was notorious for not taking my makeup off before bed, I know this sounds awful but I’ve got terrible spider veins & although ridiculous always think what if there’s an emergency & I have to rush out in the middle of the night, absolutely makes no sense but I’m so paranoid of anyone seeing how bad my veins are, anyway seeing these horrible little critters got me to washing my face every night before bed & putting moisturizer on especially around my nose, voila it cleared up! Not suggesting you don’t remove makeup but hopefully this’ll help. I nearly didn’t post this but.... x

It was just a developing fever blister/cold sore.
