My daughter has just been shopping in Iceland, they are selling Easter eggs...apparently they got them in on boxing day ..the world is going mad

Oh yes get them in now as if we haven't got enough chocolate already. Oh and while we are at it buy those Valentines chocolates and gifts now that you could buy 364 other days of the year at lower prices! Any other celebrations/occasions the shops will no doubt have them in months before.....well just in case

Nooooo Easter eggs on Boxing Day!! We’ve unopened chocs and goodies here which will last till Easter. 🤪 I used to love a Cadbury’s creme egg but now I find they are too sweet and the choc all palm oily. I do love a Green & Black choc Easter egg with butterscotch pieces.

Yes!I think most people hate it. Although one positive thing about early seasonal retail - quite a few years ago I was doing respite care for an older lady at a care holiday centre and took her on a shopping day trip. She was delighted to be able to buy Christmas items in late August because she wouldn't get an opportunity before Christmas to get it done (I think it's usually her family who take her out and about but obviously couldn't buy a surprise gift whilst they are with them!) so now I think if that lovely dear lady whenever I see items for sale at the "wrong" time of year. (I especially liked her as I was new and if I got things wrong she'd be very kind about it)
