Hi everyone, happy Xmas! 🎅

Back in Feb I had R lung surgery due to my RA, I'd had 4 collapsed lungs in short space of time due to air pockets that kept bursting! I had the pockets removed and stapled and then lungs stuck to my chest cavity with own blood, very sore indeed!

I just wondered who else had had this procedure, it's left me with a really annoying cough, like an allergy cough and very sensitive in my chest to cleaning products etc, even after 9 months? I'm wondering if this is all normal and anyone has similar experiences?

Thanks, Ant

Sorry to hear you’ve had bad times and hope you are going to improve more. There is a forum on HU specifically for lungs and it may able to provide more info and help for you?

It's to do with my RA that I had the lung surgery, so wanted to know if anyone else had been on the same boat?

Just wondered if the British Lung Foundation may have had someone with both R.A. and similar lung issues.
