So I used to be 24st I lost 11st and managed to get myself down to 13st, I got pregnant last year and gave birth in January, but I've been suffering with severe RA since July 2019, especially in my right knee I cant go out walking or exercise just to the severe swelling and pain, so I was wondering if anyone had any tips? since I've gained 2-3st back now since having a baby, plus lockdown and lack of mobility

I’m so sorry your knee is playing up. As someone who has struggled with weight all my life I hear you. And lockdown doesn’t help. The swimming polls are opening back up. I find this the best exercise for me. Gentle on the joints. And while body exercise. I also know that post natal period is tough on us. Our hormones all over the place. Be mindful of what you are eating. Eat for nutrition. Stay away from carbs and sugar. Get in the pool. Hope your knee is better soon. X
You need an awful lot of exercise to reduce weight. It really does come down to eating less and is so difficult to do. Non-weight bearing exercise might make you feel better though - there are some suggestions on the NRAS site and you could Google for them too.
Don’t skip meal but reduce the portion will help beside exercising.
I'm similar , lost 8 stone, hurt my knee , and gained 4kg during lockdown. But a new baby will soon get you downsized again. Go back to documenting what you eat, no diet drinks, small plates and being mindful eating. Its so easy to slip back.
