An answer finally

Hello everyone I just wanted to come on here to update following my last post, and I can finally say WE FOUND THE CAUSE! haha I’ve never been so happy and I’m starting a treatment. I have Sacroiliitis and am going for a treatment tomorrow, it’s good and bad it’s long term but I now know the cause!

To know the cause is crucial though it may not be a good answer. At least you can start your treatment immediately. Hope you will get well soon.

Sacroilitis isn’t fun but if it’s related to arthritis, it does also tend to respond to DMARDs etc - was my first symptom of arthritis at 16 and I’ve had it recurrently ever since, but it’s generally a lot better since treatment for my PsA kicked in. Just a shame I had to put up with it for 20 years to get to that point!! Fingers crossed whatever treatment they’re going to give you helps.
