Suggestions for numbing skin before injecting

What is the best skin numbing gel or cream you use before taking an injection? Looking for suggestions before taking benepali

I used ice. Where do you inject? Tummy hurts less than the thigh I found.

Yes I do tummy rather than thigh but I heard there are gells which help stop the pain

Thankyou I have got some of the gell coming on prescription it is called EMLA and has lidocaine in it. I will let everyone know how I get on

Tried this but didnt help. I now heat the area for 30 seconds pinch the thigh and bang. Lol. I still feel it but not as bad.

I put the injection under my arm for about 30 mins to heat it up before i use and only inject in my stomach

I do the thigh found in bruised too much in tummy but I find if when I am doing it is stretch both sides of the skin with my other hand I don't have any pain from it or bruising
