My god! Poor man. He looked awful on those video briefings. This is so scary. I'm so uncomfortable going out the house! It's only been for essentials/medicines and only half an hour. Scary times! Feeling sad with this news!

That’s true. However, no one is admitted to ITU unless there condition has deteriorated significantly and there’s a good chance they will need further intervention.

My cousin who lives in New Jersey, USA was on the phone to me and said how awful our PM was in intensive care. The TV wasn’t on so looked on my Ipad and it had not long been confirmed. I was so shocked, thinking he had only just gone in hospital as a precaution. This virus doesn’t discriminate, very scary. All best wishes to him X

Praying for Boris to have a speedy full recovery, he has been pushing himself so hard what with the common market negotiations and then the world pandemic. He carried on working instead of taking time off sick, he shouldn't have got dressed and stood outside clapping he looked so ill. God Bless Boris, we need you to come back and take the helm ❤️

I started to read the replies to your post with some trepidation fearing that there might be some who saw it as an excuse to get in to a political argument as has happened on some other sites. Congratulations to all the members here who are showing nothing but sympathy for Boris. Get well soon Boris - we need you.

Politics is the last thing in my mind right now, despite my political leanings. This is about a man who is desperately unwell with this wretched virus and I would wish anyone well who is unlucky enough to contract it.

I think most humans have compassion and that shines more so when life is under threat. It's just a shame tragedies have to occur as in the tsunami too before people set aside their differences and stand together. xxx
