You must live in the countryside with all these animal photos, lucky you 😊

We do live in the countryside (kind of) but this one is from the internet (or an email) I have lots that I have saved over the years, but they have to be cute! 😀

Lovely picture, are they yours? I have monthly eye injections for wet macular deteriation and am 2 weeks overdue for the next. Are you having problems too?

No, they aren't mine it's a picture I saved from something (don't know what it was - I've had it a while), I wish I was rich enough and healthy enough to have horses. Yes, I am having problems. I had my last injection on Thursday and my next one was supposed to be five weeks but I have been told that it will be at least eight weeks if not, much longer. I seem to get leakage once I get to five or six weeks so I am very worried. When did they say your next one would be now that they are late with your last one?

I have not been able to get any info. of when my next appointment will be, the last one was 7 weeks ago. Hospital telephone lines are all busy. I'm getting worried.

I'm not surprised. When I asked the response was in a manner of well that's the way it's going to be now. The doctor did say that if anything was urgent , such as haemorrhage, pain etc to ring A & E and they would assess if it was urgent enough to be seen, depending if they have any nurses and doctors available. Have you tried the Macular Society? I know they have contacted certain hospitals to find out what their procedures are, yours may be one of them, give them a ring. I'd be interested to know how you get on. Good luck.
