Pain relief Delay after having Rituximab and Lidocaine infusions.

I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with a delay with pain relief after having the above infusions. I have the Lidocaine infusion every 2 months for fibromyalja. I had to wait 3 months to get my 3rd set of Rituximab infusions for RD. It has been almost a month since I had the 3rd set and I am still in a lot of pain. I had a Lidocaine infusion the day after my 2nd part of Rituxmab infusion, both doctors agreed it was ok. I am wondering how soon I need to wait before I contact my Rheumy doctor to check if this is normal. I can't remember how soon I felt relief from the Rituximab infusion I had previously. The Lidocaine infusion I had instant relief previously. I am wondering if it could be due to having to wait 3 months longer to get the 3rd set of infusions. I also haven't had both infusions at the same time in the past. I would appreciate if anyone else has had a delay waiting for the infusions to start to giving some relief. I hope everyone is feeling well as I heard about the bad storms in the UK. I am living in Canada and it has been very cold here. The damp weather in the UK use to cause me a lot of pain. Take care everyone xx

Hello.... I think Retuximab takes a long time to work. Generally for me 12-15 weeks... so perhaps it just hasn’t cut in yet xx

Thanks Lyndy, it is just 3 weeks last Friday so hopefully, it hasn't kicked in yet.

I had the 2nd increased dose infusion for fibromyalgia the day after, the 1st fibro infusion took effect right away but this one didn't work either. I will wait and hope they both kick in soon.

Thanks again Lyndy, I appreciate your feedback, take care, Sue
