I don’t take Humira, but another biologic. However it is quite common to get increased number of infections on biologics. If you are new to UTIs do you know to follow the recommendations for avoiding them?

Hi Tillie, I got a nasty UTI almost straight away when I started the biosimilar Amgevita. Not had any since stopping that drug due to it not working for me anyway.

D-Mannose is good for prevention but so is drinking certain juices. The former is more expensive but also more effective and can also treat an infection of the UT.

Hi tillie I was on humira for about 2 years and never had any problems with it but had to change to truxima as it stopped working for me and have had urine infections from this one it's so annoying I hope you get sorted as I thought humira was brilliant and didn't even have that many flare ups while I was on it

Please read my previous post about how D-mannose has cut down my 3 to 4 annual infections down to 0. Or go sweet-cures.com . Click on Bladder Health at the top of the page and then scroll down to the article called Using D-mannose for a Healthy Bladder. I followed the instructions there and now I just take one tablet morning and evening to keep me free of infection. It's one of the best things I've ever done for my health. My GP is impressed!
