RELIEVING RHEUMATISM.

Rheumatism is known as a disease that causes pain due to your muscles or joints that will experience inflammation and swelling. This disease can often be caused by eating foods that will contain high purine such as spinach, clams, anchovies, and as well as red meat, drinking alcohol, bathing late at night, and even dehydration. Age is also often one of the main causes of rheumatic diseases. People in the past have used pandan leaves in order to cope with rheumatism. The steps are to take around three pieces of fresh pandan leaves, wash them and then cut them into pieces. You will need to brew it with half a cup of coconut oil that has been boiled and then stir it until evenly distributed. Once it has cooled down, use it as a liniment to massage the areas that have been affected.

Dear Kitty,

I am not sure if this is true about pandan leaves. My mom did boil the natural leaves and drink for sometimes, she said that her knees no pain anymore then. It is very easy to grow, so just grow some at your backyard and no harm trying out.

You can refer to the link below for more information.

Dear FurBaby,

Over here we grow the leave our own, it is very easy to grow. Reading your reply, I might have misunderstood what Kitty meant then. Certainly no harm trying it as it will be just leave to be boiled and drink like normal tea.

Hi Amy...

I too think I misinterpreted Kitty's response to you... I had already sent to Kitty when I re read her response...

It probably wouldn't grow very well here in the UK 🇬🇧 who knows.....

Ps: Love your name... My rescue cat is called Amy... She's beautiful

Hahaha... the name of your cat!!

Here in Malaysia is a tropical country, yes it may not be able to grow there in UK. We have a lot here, normally we just pluck and cook it together with just anything for our meal. It really smell great!

My suggestion is to try thing that is really natural. As for other direct selling, we must be careful as the sales persons are not knowledgeable enough about RA, they only have their products in mind to push them out. Therefore we cannot just try anything to be safe.

As my mom did/does not live with me, she planted a lot of pandan leave around, so boiled them daily to drink and found it was useful. I live in a place without land, so I do not have that around me. Therefore I have not tried before. In addition, my mom has knees problem because of old age, I have RA hence I never thought pandan leave could help until I read the article today.

As I think it is no harm to try hence I share hoping that it is useful to some including myself now to try it out though I am already in remission and back in my normal life without pain.

Hi Amy - thanks for sharing. Shall see if we can get here in perhaps a specialist store.

Lastly, are you considered in remission even though I thought you are on Leflunomide and a biologic?

Dear GranAmie,

I am not sure over there at your place. In Malaysia, we can get it in the market. Also, since it is very easy to grow, a lot of people will grow them in their garden.
