Not posted for a while, just had started ritixamab treatment in April/ May, and just had another infusion this week, another due in 2 weeks. This time the treatment really wiped me out. Felt woozy and lightheaded, and extremely tired. Anyone else experienced this?

If you type rituximab into the search box and filter for NRAS then posts about it will come up, I think there’s quite a few 😊

Yep, I have had 4 infusions and each time they wipe me out for a few weeks. I am glad to say I think it is working now - my last one was in June.

I’ve just had my second cycle and not had that problem but I am still taking Prednisolone. I hope you have less fatigue after your next and subsequent infusions.

I’m to start on that soon. I appreciate knowing how it affects different people but hope the benefits kick in for you too! 🙂

It has worked for me, after almost 2 years trying different meds. Hope it continues. Good luck

Yeah I used to feel like I’d been hit by a bus for at least 24 hrs after infusions. Was also light headed and woozy. Hopefully if you’re experiencing these side effects they’ll be short lived and you’ll feel better after some rest. I’m sure your rheumy will be checking your bloods before the next infusion so you should be ok.

i was like that after my first infusion ever in 2018 but it was nerves etc. It was Truxima , a biosimilar to Rituximab and 2nd sessions in 2018 were fine .. doing well now.
