Ligaments
Hi Cornwall, I was diagnosed in 2009 and am in remission since 2014. Having said that, I still have problems with tendons and ligaments. They seem to be far more susceptible to being over stretched without having done major athletic feats. There are various ways to help yourself. Strengthen the muscles around the affected areas, icing, massage etc. It's what I do. and it helps. Have a look on the web. Hopefully you'll find something that helps you.

I have tenosynovitis which causes more problems than my actual joints. When the RD is better controlled the tenosynovitis is less troublesome.

Yeah I’ve had two episodes the first one was when I had a really bad shoulder and I went to see a physio to try to get movement back into it, I suppose this tendon tear was caused by the physio and it got so bad that I actually fractured my collarbone picking up a coffee lol. The 2nd one was a slight stumble in the living room I didn’t hit the floor or anything but managed to tear my anterior cruciate ligament that wasn’t fun I was in a full leg brace for 6 weeks and wasn’t able to weight bare for what seemed like an eternity. I have to say though that I had experienced a lot of pain in both my shoulder and knees for many weeks leading to these episodes so I suppose something had to give.
