Swan neck

I have a swan neck deformity on my little finger of my left hand the last few days ive been getting pins and needles in that finger,has anyone else had the same problem.

Yes, my thumbs are resemble a swan's neck and the same two fingers on each hand are deformed making it very difficult to hold a cup or get money out of my purse. My Rheumatologist prescribed metal finger splints which readily helps with these tasks, also typing. Look up 'finger splints for RA finger'. Take Care.

Thanks for your helpful reply,i was just wondering do you get constant pins and needles in these fingers.

Hi gradyjackfacob, I get pins & needles only when sitting watching the TV and I have my left hand resting on my chin or when in bed and I tend to have my hands on my pillow by my head. I am guessing it is gravity, the blood has run from my hands; it will wake me up. On movement it will go. It is not continuous and I don't notice it otherwise. Take Care.
