New pill made from Peonies could ease arthritis pain

Well aspirin comes from willow trees, so why not peonies! Hope thetrial works.

Thanks for sharing. My sister works with medical writers who claim all medicines are derived from plants.

I looked it up online and found a peony supplement. I am going to give it a try. In US.

Hopeful news in the future for those newly diagnosed with OA. It's a way to go before conclusive results are in & it's brought to market as to date it's only had Phase 1 pre-clinical trials on animals (dogs & rats). Results are promising enough though for it to be going through to Phase 2 (human) trials sometime this year.

It's a combination of synthetic forms of phytochemicals (compounds produced by plants) of apocynin & paeonol (APPA), both used in 'natural' remedies.
