My dr dx seronegative RA. Started out couldn't straighten out several fingers. Put on 5 tabs mtx once week in January. Didnt notice any side effects and also taking folic acid daily. Still having symptoms so dr upped it to 7 tabs once week in feb. Broke ankle in march and they pulled me off mtx for 6-8 weeks. Now resume mtx. After 2 wks now have severe dizziness and fatigue next day after dose with severe stiffness and hurting head to toe. Anyone relate or have suggestions?

Have you started again at the lower level? You ought to be doing that.

I'm sorry to hear you're having so many problems. I reckon you need to contact your rheumy team, let them know what's going on and get professional advice. It's what I would do

I hope you are starting on a low dose and gradually increasing again ?

I found drinking lots of water before taking MTX and again afterwards helped as did eating carbohydrates.

The MTX hangover fatigue lessened each week to over a period of a few weeks until I just felt a little tired the morning after.
