I would go back to your GP Viola.

Why did you complain Viola....rather than asking for help? What did the hospital say?

How did you twist you wrist? Was anybody else involved?

Have you asked your Health Visitor or the Midwives at the Baby Clinic to help you?

You need to explain a bit more.......but if your wrist is still painful...& you are in UK....see your GP,

You say twisted your wrist Viola. Is it not something that will ease if there's no actual damage? Without undermining any pain you have if it is just a twisted or sprained wrist & there's no break all you can do is splint it (use a wrist brace available online), rest & pain relief. If it's been a year it's a long time for a twisted wrist to still be painful, even if it's severely sprained it would only be a matter of weeks or a couple of months I would have thought.

When you complained to the hospital how long after was it & what did they actually say? Did you see your GP at all? Sorry for the questions but it would help.
