I’m having vibrating pulsating in my pelvis lower back down my groin and legs. My dad says it sounds like nerve problems.
This worries me as I know it could be to do with my spine. I’m hoping to get my mri Friday instead of New Year’s Day, would it show up it there was any nerve / spinal cord damage?
Thanks 🎄

I’m at the cancer hospital tomorrow for my mri they have appointments available for emergencies that they can release if not taken. My rheumy is at another hospital x
If it's nerve pain, then likely that something is pinching the nerve to cause the pain. And that would show up on an MRI. So hope you get answers tomorrow.
Thanks thought that could be the case. Had MRI’s before but didn’t realise they check different things. They checked my muscles before not bones ligaments etc
I had mri of ankles on Christmas eve and radiologist told me they can see inside the bones and all the nerves etc so yes they will be able to see what is going on with your nerves.
That’s good to know. Hope your mri went well. I’m dosing up on diazepam. Got to go in the smaller one if I want my mri tomorrow but I need to do this sooner rather than later x
Scan was a breeze u just have to lie still for ages as each one takes about 3 mins and they do plenty. U r strapped down though. My first was in a smaller one but honestly it's fine but a bit noisy. Why r u taking diazapam? I hate feeling drugged.
Thanks I’ve had quite a few already so know what to expect. I struggle as I’m claustrophobic so I take diazepam to calm me and usually have the bigger scanner but can’t if I want my mri tomorrow.
Plus my whole body will be in as I’m having my pelvis and full spine. You were lucky just having your ankles done as your head and upper body probably wasn’t in x
I had my mri last Friday and back at rheumatology Tuesday so should get my results then. Am really struggling now with the pain and bursitis in most joints so really hope I get some answers and treatment straight away
