Had a docs appointment today ... nurses worried about my blood pressure. Yep it goes up and down but doc said he's not too worried and doesn't want to give me more tablets as I'm taking enough, I like my doctor.

He is really happy that I've improved so much since starting mxt and hydroxy, it's been 14 weeks and I feel great for 75% of the time. I thanked him today for getting me diagnosed so quickly I saw consultant within a month and had hand x rays within a week of seeing him for first time.

It makes me so sad reading how others are in pain etc so I'm sending you all a great big hug and wish you could all feel as good as me.

I'm so pleased you feel better. Looks like many of us have blood pressure issues.

It's pleasing to hear that some people get good efficient treatment. Well done to your RD team !

The nurses have to act according to blood pressure protocols and I find I'm often sent by the nurse to see the doctor who then looks at the bigger picture and can be more flexible. My blood pressure goes up and down quite widely and erratically - so if I have any more medication it is likely to go down too much and make me fall over. Not a good plan. Now I take my readings for a week before I see the nurse for my blood pressure check up and she averages them.

Yes that is what I do, they can look and see how BP is.
