I have to believe that steroid shots caused me to have horrible leg cramps in both calf muscles. So severe that it caused my left ankle to hurt, like it was twisted. I have heard this from numerous people. Yet, when I asked my Dr. he said, "There is no connection. You must be low in calcium. Just a coincidence." Now, the leg cramps are triggered by eating anything with sugar. I know really weird... but if I don't eat anything with sugar I am fine... but I eat sugary foods and that night I suffer terribly!
Anyone else?
I also got a concussion and after a steroid shot I had to go to the emergency room because my head felt like it was going to explode. One Dr. said, that "it could be a connection to the steroid shots."

Pardon me for being ignorant on the matter but I thought to get a concussion you had to physically get a bang on the head? Pretty sure a steroid injection wouldn’t give you a concussion???
I’ve luckily had no symptoms from my steroid injections!
No, LOL... I got a concussion and after that the steroid shots in my back not only gave me leg cramps but gave me horrible headaches. Sorry... if I did not relay that correctly.
Hi, I have had 2 shots of depo since diagnosis, and after both, have bad leg/foot cramps. Mainly at night. So your not alone. It does really hurt doesn't it!! Before I go to bed I do stretch my toes right out, and in again. I think this helps a bit.. X
