Today I had a back tooth split in half, and half of it taken out, after that side of my jaw hurt with pain and the back of it sore around the tooth constantly .
It all happened when I had a root cannal done on it and a crown put on top of it and to me it seemed as if not long after all my problems came with RA to me, so after reading and looking I read there could be a link.
so went back 4 times to dentist until he agreed to do something about it, he doesn't agree with the link but I know how I feel.
anyway he split it in half because its my back tooth, and the other half has grown new bone even though I am 54 years old (work that one out?) so that was left in also because that half didn't hurt, it was the other half more to the back near my jaw was taken out that was constantly sore to myself.
so fingers tightly crossed it works even if it takes the jaw pain away I will be happy as its one less place that hurts.

after reading that only having half of it removed wont work? but dentist said because its near that joint removing it could make that joint pain worse,I don't know why but don't want more pain
