Hi everyone can anybody give me an idea what I this is ??? Started itching last night but now this has come up and it hurts to touch

Looks like bruising? Hard to tell from photo. If you're worried check with doc. Are you on any new meds?

Think it's all 2do with thin skin I've put photo of mine think it's same sort of thing and it does itch

I get a lot of these. you only have to touch them sometimes to cause them. I get them a lot and my legs are always bruised in seeral places. I shouldn't worry too much,but if your concerned see your gp.xx

That you said it started itching is interesting. Did you scratch it? If I scratch my thigh I can make it bruise & I don't mean madly scratching it either, only a reactional scratch & the next time I look it's bruised & tender. I've always bruised easily though all my life before I ever had to take any meds or steroids.

If you have an antihistamine cream, or mosquito/insect bite cream such as Anthisan, that may calm the itch enough for you to forget about it for a while.

Do see a doctor. Could it be shingles? Sending healing thoughts and get well wishes.

That's what I was thinking. I had shingles a few months back, sounds and looks similar. Is it only on one side? That's how shingles normally presents itself.

Yes i was thinking Shingles as well because of the itching...... if it becomes really red and worse it may be...... shingles affects the nerve endings and can be painful as well as itchy
