Pain on the left side of neck

Diagnosed with GCA in May 2017 now down to 2.5 mg reducing by .5 a month for the last 4months I have been doing a lot of gardening the pain is up the left side of my neck no headache I am wondering if is a flair as I have not had a flair since I was diagnosed I do suffer with arthritis in my neck your comments would be appreciated

If you already have arthritic changes in your neck, and have been doing more gardening than usual then isn't it more likely to be that you've pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve in your neck? Usually if you can identify what movements cause pain then it helps to work out what's causing it and how to help yourself.

I don't know what flares of GCA feel like, but Presumably you know if it feels like this? If you are worried though, go see your GP as neck pain can have many causes.
