Swollen feet hands

Been on mtx 12 weeks now but today I couldn’t walk my middle finger was so swollen rang nurse got to go for injection tomorrow hope it works think they are putting me on self injections mtx July seems 2 steps forward 3 steps back trying to keep positive

Hello Eswick I think most of us are in the same boat as I get terrible problems with my hands and feet,at the moment I'm in the middle of a big flare and nearly landed in hospital last night as I had to call an ambulance out but luckily the paramedics stabilised me so was able to stay at home and my GP gave me more pain relief today but I'm cream crackers as I've not slept properly for 3 nights so hopefully they kick in soon and I get a better sleep tonight,I've got RA ,OA and Angina but I think they'll need to change my meds as I've been on Methetrexate 20mgs 3years, Benepali 50mgs nearly a year and on Sulfazalasine 500mgs 2months but still not controlled, I hope you get comfort from the meds and as you know it's a rocky road with up and downs and a disease that doesn't take any prisoners, nice to talk to you and everyone on this forum helps each other out as we know what we're all going through xxx
