Hi, sometimes after a steroid injection you can get a steroid flare when it hurts even more than the original pain, but it can then settle down after a couple of days and start to work. Hope this is the case.

I’m really sorry to hear this. One thought.... like myself when I had my finger injection.... after few weeks started to improve, heat gone and swelling coming down , able to somewhat bend finger again, pain gone and generally feeling much better..... so went and overdid it with catching up on all those jobs that I weren’t able to do! Is there a chance you have done the same??? Also agree that this heat and humidity has likewise affected my ( somewhat) swollen finger and it’s certainly more stiff and sore than it has been. Rest / ice / pain relief and see if it is a flare. Look after yourself, treat yourself to things you can easily do that make you happy.

When did you have the injection? It gets worse after an injection before it gets better, so it’s probably that. I’ve had many injections and that’s generally the case for me. Hope it gets better in a few days

It was about 2 weeks ago I know what it was now I did too much Friday cleaning in the 🛏 moving mirrors and such my own fault 😲but did I suffer from it x
