Yes mine are the same - I actually have to draw eyebrows on these days! I’ve stopped using mascara too as there seemed little point- on the plus side I am not as hirsute in other areas ( arms and legs) which is good. Unfortunately the hair loss hasn’t extended to my chin and neck.....🤣

I have some hair oddities going on. Eye brows are the most noticeable. I had put it down to wearing an eye mask to sleep in (hyper sensitive to light) but after your post and thinking about other areas of my body that have thinning, you’ve got me thinking again....

It does happen with age as well. Did your parents suffer similar hair loss?

I'm on MTX which is famous for causing hair loss. I had already noticed thinning hair due to being post menopausal and getting older which means I don't need to shave legs etc. This gives me so much more time to deal with the flourishing moustache.

Could be lots of things age, thyroid, RA meds so go to your GP.

Hi guys never noticed but I never really had underarm or heavy leg hair but now I'velooked and...I've none! It has to be the methotrexate! 2 years in and I've still got a little bit of hair loss too but the loss on the legs is a bonus lol M x

I have noticed that I rarely have to shave my legs these days and never have to shave under my arms which is great. However, I am getting more hairy on my chin and upper lip which I hate. I have had some sessions of laser treatment for the black hairs and some electrolysis for the white hairs which got rid of a lot but it was expensive to have done.

However, after four months of stopping the treatment I am really hairy again and having to pluck every few days. I find it hard to understand why I would have less hair on my legs and underarms and yet get so much on my chin and lips. It doesn't make sense and is so infuriating.

Like most of you, I am also on Mtx, Steroids and Hydroxy.

I’m plucking every day ‘cos otherwise my bristles glint in sunshine😂. My eyebrows are salt & pepper, curling, whilst my hair has lost most of its natural curl. I had to shower twice in succession last Saturday to get an element of control over my thatch: payback time for a youth spent bemoaning my golden curls?
