SAPHO diagnosis

Hi, has anybody on here been diagnosed with SAPHO? Just wondering as I have been recently diagnosed and it is so rare there is not a lot of research on it. Also wondering how often and how much folic acid people are taking after a 15mg dose of Methotrexate? Thanks in advance.

Can't say anything about SAPHO as I've never heard of it! But sounds horrid, poor you.

For MTX 15mg the dose of folic acid is very variable between doctors and individuals. When I started on 15mg I also took 15mg folic acid (5mg three times a week), then I started getting mouth ulcers so was increased to 30mg (5mg six times a week). Then I swapped to injections so dropped back down, but then increased dose of MTX so went up again. It's really what suits you best, there is no hard and fast rule.
