I decided to treat myself to a bacon butty for breakfast on New Year’s Day, as a gift to myself for tolerating this hideous disease for over five months. I don’t know quite what it did but I can hardly move my hand today. I haven’t done anything else weird or different so it can only be the bacon. How annoying is that?
Bacon butty...: I decided to treat myself to a bacon... - NRAS
Bacon butty...
Not that weird - loads of salt in a sudden burst if you've been eating a low salt diet can do odd things. But makes me envious...can't get proper bacon where we live and I yearn for a bacon butty at times. Or even better a fried egg and bacon butty!
Oh stop! My mouth is watering. Egg and crispy bacon butty on white bap with butter and hp sauce!!!
Oh no, not HP sauce! I am a highly refined person so a twist of freshly ground black pepper on my soft white bread, butter, egg and crispy bacon (and a cup of tea of course...)
But hope your hands have now recovered and you'll stick to dreaming about them instead.
It's surprising what causes a flare and u can't discribe the pain either then when it goes it's as though u never had it I feel ur pain darling xx
I had to google bacon butty. Wow a bacon & butter sandwich does sound so delicious....and greasy & salty....yummy.... I can't stop thinking about how well a poutine would serve as a side dish with your bacon butty....yummy...
I've got to stop thinking about this ...lol.. . I live in a poutine crazed city and I'm proud to say I never ate one. I guess a bacon butty has to go on the never, never list too.
....but a girl can dream eh?
Your posts can so cheer me up!
What’s poutine?
Well it's deep fried french fries loaded with cheese and gravy.... Everyone just loves it here...but I still refuse it....lol
Oh my god that sounds like a heart attack!
Lol...why yes it does sound like a heart attack!! It was invented in Quebec and it is so popular in all of North America...and I still refuse to eat it...lol
hi Jules13 ,
I don't think it is weird. I find some meat and highly processed food regularly make my hands sore and tingly. but as a once in a blue moon treat a bacon sarnies is still worth it. i have tried switching to more fish and vegetables as well as fewer but better quality meat meals which i cook from scratch? Fewer ready meals and pizza too?
Well the trouble is I can’t afford a cooker or fridge yet for my new house so eating lots of soup. Just blended vegetables and then microwaved. Or cold stuff of rye toast. No ready meals yet. Cooker will be installed in 2 weeks time. Hurrah.
Ahh bless you .wonder what your first meal will be
Whatever it is enjoy xx
Oh yes... Anything with animal nitrates .. Bacon sarnie .. Ham on a pizza ... and my joints especially fingers and elbows are jumping and stabbing. Hence why the bacon sarnie is only very occasionally. 😐
