I have a sink as well as another toilet filled with plants and the sink has water in it,also we have a bath in the front garden filled with plants too.xxxx

We have an old Belfast sink planted with daffs but not a loo! Different, may just pinch that idea.

Look on Pinterest! There's lots. My Mum in law had a lovely old sink as an alpine garden. Also bird baths are a good idea if deep enough. I've bought an old one but have an actual bird bath too. I even saw an old rusty shopping trolley filled with plants! I like the idea also of having a small metal birdcage as a hanging basket. Will be doing that in the spring.

Lovely photo and brilliant idea. I was saving some old wellies to plant up but Himself took a tidying spasm and binned them drat it. I hope life is getting better for you Sylvi. Hugs
