I've been diagnosed with polyarteritis nosdosa (cpan) have had symths for well over a year and finally been diagnosed through biopsy.

Been on steriods for 12 weeks now and taking methotrexate, week 6.

Some days I think my legs are improving and others not.

Anyone experienced cpan?

There's another healthunlocked forum called Vasculitis UK, and you may find more sufferers on there rather than here since it's a form of vasculitis isn't it? Hope that the steroids do the trick and you get over it quickly.

I'm so sorry - I had never heard of it either.. Best of luck with your treatment. I agree with Double Helix on the other forum though...
