Golimumab I think it is but I don't know the drug. Hope it works well for you. My vit D levels were right down but I came back to normal levels after two months of taking the supplement.

Yet another tablet, hey? It would seem a lot of people are low on vit d whether they have RA or not. My GP said I should take it and told me to buy it so got a spray cos I'm sick of tabs. I'm not on golimumab so can't comment but hope it works for you. Hugs

My GP says that we re mostly Vit D deficient in this country and climate as we don't get enough sun! Especially the last few years. She's right. Add in the fact people with RA are usually low on vitamin D it doesn't help does it?! I avoid tablets where I can as I'm a bad swallower of tablets so I have the Nature's Garden Vit D3 oil drops. I just got my hubby a Vit D spray as he is even worse with tablets and always in a rush on a morning.

I started Golilumab 2 weeks ago and I have felt an improvement, it may be small but it's a very welcome change!

I hope it works for you too!

Great news! I know someone who told me it was a fast worker. Worked like a dream for them. Enbrel worked like magic for me overnight but only lasted for a few weeks. So disappointing, but each med is different and so are we. 😁

I am a bit confused. It is unclear to me what your diagnosis is(?) Do you have RA or OA? If you have both, which maybe the case since you have been trying out RA meds? Your most pressing proplem seems however to be OA in your knees and you are now getting Simponi for that? I'm bit confused, I hope you will correct me if I'm wrong, but have understood that Simponi is for RA and in fact can as a side effect cause OA🤔

Sero negatives, so I have understood, usually get better help from biologics. Don't know what effect on the OA though(?). You could ask. Hope you get help soon for your pain. All the best. Simba

I'm Sero positive and the anti-tnf 'S have always helped bring my RA under some kind of control. The longest lasting was Embrel which lasted just over 9 years, I hope Simponi works as long for both of us Deejoo
