Hi lady B

I too have just been prescribed leflunomide and begin taking it tomorrow. This is on top of enbrel, methotrexate and arcoxia- it will be interesting to see how it goes. I’m choosing to look positively on itπŸ˜”

Best of luck to you going forward.

I took it last year with no problems - except I lost the stone I had put on while on steroids!

I am sure you have been told to have blood pressure checked regularly with bloods.

Good luck and may this be the magic bullet for you.

Merely supplemental information, Ladybrunette68/ Lady B ( πŸ’ƒπŸ» 🐝 )

Nice infographic overview of Leflunomide (LEF) along with 3 other DMARDs (Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs) [Methotrexate (MTX), Sulphasalazine (SSP), Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)] that you might find useful: bmj.com/content/bmj/suppl/2...

It includes recommended monitoring & conditions that may interfere with treatment.

Hope it helps, πŸ’ƒπŸ» 🐝. . . . πŸ™ πŸ€ 🌺 🌞
