METHOTEXRATE

As I have monthly bloods done, after reading this article would any problems be picked up on blood tests? I have now developed emphysema. Been on MTX for 2 years now.

Methotrexate may cause lung damage. Tell your doctor if you have or have ever had lung disease. ... Taking methotrexate may increase the risk that you will develop lymphoma (cancer that begins in the cells of the immune system).15 Apr 2017

Generally changes in your blood count, particularly white blood cells, and liver and kidney function will alert doctors to consider the reason. This isn't specific to lymphoma but does show something's up that needs investigation if it persists.

I think that for these sorts of cancers the physical symptoms are more of a warming - so swollen lymph nodes and unexplained weight loss. Again may not be lymphoma as there are fairly trivial things that can cause this too but always somethimg that should be reported to a doctor.

Do try not to worry about things that may or may not happen as stress doesn't help either!
