All clips are out and it does feel a lot better. I feel absolutely exhausted now after a walk round the close and from our car to the charity shop and that is not far. I will walk after lunch as i think i have done enough for this morning and i am tired now.
The nurse said the scar looks very well and clean and neat and the clips came out with very little pain which was lovely. Now is the hard part for me. I know i am getting better, but not better enough for me to go full steam ahead which is my want. I have to be oh so careful now. She said it will take up to 18mths for me to fully recover from this surgery,so it is going to be tough for me.
Have a lovely day all of you and thank you for your support during this painful time for me.xxxxx

Very pleased you have made such good progress following your op. It must be such a relief at last after all that you went thru.
Now turn your engines down to half power, and if things take a bit longer to do then so be it. On your really impatient days just remind yourself how you felt before this op and you certainly dont want to go back there.
It's good when the clips come out as the skin isn't so tight at the wound.
Take it easy as it's major surgery you have had. I felt exactly the same after my recent knee replacement and eventually realised not to fight the exhaustion and go and rest.
So glad to hear things went well for you and the pinching and pulling of staples is no more. Nothing but best wishes for rest and healing - be well! 💕🌷🌸🌷💜💜💜🌷🌸🌷💕
Brilliant when they come out I am 8 weeks post op for my right knee now. Still trying go full steam but like you get tired but we will get there. All the best 😀😀
As long as you do your exercises you will be fine. I have to walk and as i am going shopping i am going into Tesco i will take my scooter in there and ask if someone can walk round with me. Good luck on your recovery.xxxx
