Knee pain

Hi everyone....I have just recently been suffering with knee pain....inflammation.

I was prescribed diaflen....have been told today it is very hard on the stomach...

Is there anything else, I wonder.....

I'm sorry Mary but I don't know diaflen. Can you provide a bit more info, the generic name perhaps? This is usually beside the brand name in brackets. If it's hard on the stomach as you say it may be an NSAID but nevertheless if it's reliable info that this is a common side effect as a general rule a PPI (proton pump inhibitor or stomach protector) like omeprazole is usually prescribed.

Maybe go back to your GP if it's causing tum problems, not knowing the med I can't suggest an alternative you could ask your GP for I'm afraid but am sure he will have an alternative.
