Hi - my voice sounded very strained for a while. It turned out I had a nodule which was discovered by putting a camera down my nose! I had to go to voice therapy for some months which helped. I also think the meds I take help. I work in a school, so have to use my voice at different levels all day - the exercises that the voice therapist gave me helped to use it more sufficiently. Maybe go to your GP and ask their advice.

Oh Gods yes!!! I'm a singer and yes, RA + meds have seriously screwed up my voice. It gives out alot sooner than I would like and some notes, I'm never going to hit again.
