Hi
Was wondering have anybody had success with massage, acupuncture or similar for helping pain rather than just taking mire painkillers?
Am willing to try almost anything, but would rather not spend a fortune on sometjing not working

I am thinking of trying out a tens machine. I'm sick of popping painkillers!
I'd love to have some acupuncture, but it's so expensive. It worked for back twenty years ago.
I've had deep tissue massage post flare, worked well to release tension in my back & shoulders but think you need specific problem areas for this to be beneficial.
For years I used pain management, chiropractic care , acupuncture and it just wasn't enough. Now being diagnosed in march with RA I'm on MTX. It has helped with pain but never feel good due to sensitivity to most medications . I would like to try acupuncture again . I'm hoping a combination could help you . I don't think any suggestions you made could hurt. Unfortunately there is the added cost
