Methotrexate seem to have a headache 🤕 everyday but is that normal ???? Xxx

It's probably from the relief after stressing over starting Mtx! So now just relax & join the large number of people who take it very successfully!

Fairly normal to start with, it should wear off in time. Also drinking extra water helps.

I've been on it for 12 months now haven't had any problems other then a bit of a gut ache every now and then

I had terrible side effects at the beginning including headache, eye tearing, depression, fatigue, you can name it; but all get less and less with days , I have been on it for more than 8 months now

I've been on it for 15 years with odd breaks here and there for various reasons. Haven't had any problems with it.

I had terrible headaches at first, not far off a migraine. They have eased up a lot but still get a slight niggly headache the day after. I have been on methotrexate injection a year now and has made a big difference for me. X

Hi I had slight headache when I started mtx but I have been on it 18 months I did change to injection after 8 months as felt terrible but no pain and since I started injections I feel great I keep thinking I could not have RA but I am one of the lucky ones x
